Hello. My Black Russian Terrier's groomer has asked if I want the hair around the eyes trimmed. I've said "no" thus far. Is this advisable; or, shall I allow it to grow naturally, along with his beard, moustache, eyebrows and fall? He is 6 months old, and I hope to keep him in a casual, curly cut...with not too severe of a pattern. Thank you for any help you can offer. NCS

7/12/07 Hi! It is complitly up to you, the way you want to groom your puppy. There is no harm to his vison if you trim the hair around his eyes. We keep long hair for show dogs and me personaly like the long front hair. Another option for you, to put his front hair in "pony tail" Good lack! Lana
