Hello! I have had pitbulls all my life, and recently decided to get an amstaff puppy. She is only 8 weeks old, and adorable! With pitbulls I have had, I always kept a one-dog family, as they tended to be very territorial with their humans. However, I have read that amstaffs do well with other dogs. We are thinking about getting a second dog - in addition to our amstaff - so that she will have some companionship during the day while we're at work. Is this a good idea? Does anybody have recommendations on types or sizes of dogs that would be either a good idea or a dog to avoid? We were thinking about getting something a little smaller & less powerful than our amstaff, so that we wouldn't have such a handful with two.
