My 9 year old female American Eskimo was diagnosed with allergic dermatitis 1 month ago. She is just finishing up the medication the veterinarian put her on, which is Vanectyl P , but since her problem has pretty much gone away......she is now chewing her front leg raw....and i was wondering,...is this out of boredom?.....and also....i have heard that this particular breed was well-known for this type of behaviour.....is this true? And what can i do? Please help!!!! Thank- you...Mrs. Bonnie Cobbe
