We have produced many dogs with notable titles in conformation and various performance venues over the past 40 years, nearly always amateur owner-handled. We are home to multiple AKC (USA) and CKC (Canadian) Champions and specialty show winners.
Every litter is carefully graded with the next generation of champions in mind. Good quality pet puppies are usually available after this evaluation process, which may last for several months. Please be patient with us. We're often asked "what's wrong" with an older puppy or why we still have it after 8 weeks. Most serious breeders keep back their best puppies for further evaluation, while those that grade definitely pet quality are sold first. The moral of this story....you may get a better quality puppy at an older age! It will also be well socialized, used to grooming, and may be finished with its vaccinations, leash broken, and house trained. If you want to be sure of getting a very young puppy, we recommend reserving one from us in advance.
