As winter drags on here in northeast WIsconsin, we are seeing some hopeful signs of things to come for the summer.

[PHOTO:0014] Hanako seems to be settling into her new role as retired champion, on our couch! I've added a couple of pictures of her relaxing, with NO thought of another showring performance ever again!

Daku is wintering well, and maturing into a very handsome young dog. We will be doing a bit more training, and showing him as a special as soon as his spring shed is complete.

Maybe has found his forever home with Rebecca Griffin, in Arkansas. He will be leaving us soon, and meeting his new "sisters", Desi (a shiba serior) and Elly Mae, a young rambunctous redbone hound. We welcome Rebecca and her husband into the Nekatzuki family.

Wheezy, our almost 15 year old rescue girl, continues to amaze us with her stamina and zest for life. Although she suffers from a myriad of health problems, she makes no bones about letting us know if her dinner is late, or her "cookie" does not arrive on schedule!
