WINDROCK is one of the top breeders of show and performance greyhounds in the US! We owned and campaigned the all time top AKC Ch Sire, BIS/SBIS Ch Shazam's The Journey Begins to #1 greyhound in 1996 & 1997. We also had #1 greyhound boys in BIS/SBIS Ch Greystone's Barcelona,and Int'l BIS/SBIS Ch Windrock Does Your Mother Know JC. Kim has handled more greyhounds to BIS wins than any other owner-handler in North America! Our BIS Int. Ch Windrock Fernando was exported to Finland and has been a #1 ranked show dog and is now has many champion and BIS/SBIS offspring. Our show dogs are not only good looking, they are functional! Many of our dogs attain Dual Championships with glittering accomplishments in both the ring and on the field. In 2005 our multiple group,AOM and specialty winning, DC Windrock Mamma Mia was the AKC's #1 lure coursing greyhound. In addition to winning BIS, our greyhounds have won the ASFA II and BIF at the grueling Grand National. WINDROCK greyhounds compete and win in open field competitions. The intelligence and calm nature of WINDROCK greyhounds gives them the ability to do succeed in agility and we have had multiple HIT obedience winners. In 2009, we bred the #1 ASFA and #1 AKC lure coursing greyhounds and the #2 greyhound in Canada. We also had a Top 10 in the Group & BIS ratings here in the US! We believe the greyhound should be beautiful, functional, healthy and long lived. We health screen our breeding stock (OFA/CERF) and have imported dogs to enhance our stock. We are very serious and dedicated breeders that conduct our business professionally. We place dogs on contract and actively mentor our puppy people. We firmly stand for the owner handler and responsible dog ownership. WINDROCK is a Registered Kennel with the AKC and Kim is a member of the parent club, The Greyhound Club of America.
