Health Guarantee
Hound House Farm guarantees that the above described dog/puppy is a purebred Dachshund with AKC or CKC registration papers. All future liabilities and veterinarian bills will be the Buyers responsibility.
Hound House Farm’s guarantee does not cover any liability for injury. This guarantee is good against life threatening diseases, not parasites or Coccidian. The breeder does not guarantee that the puppy will not develop hypoglycemia or diarrhea due to stress or improper diet after the sale. The breeder will refund all money if the puppy is injured or dies in the care of the seller. If the buyer changes his/her mind for any reason, the deposit will NOT BE REFUNDED. The puppy has been wormed and vaccinated in accordance to its age.
Buyer understands that shipping cost must be paid before any flight arrangements will be made. If the buyer backs out on the puppy within the last week before shipping or pickup, the breeder will only refund ½ the total money paid on dog and shipping (if shipping was paid).
Hound House Farm also guarantees this puppy to be free of life threatening Genetic Defects until the puppy reaches 6 months of age. Buyer agrees to have said puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian with (3) three days after the dog/puppy leaves the breeder’s care. The buyer has (2) two business days to notify the breeder of the licensed veterinarian’s findings in writing. Failure to do so will void this agreement and its guarantee. If the dog/puppy is found to have a fatal or severe life-altering genetic defect by the age of six months that is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian that would prevent the dog/puppy from being a good pet/companion and is detrimental to the dog/puppy’s life, then the breeder will replace the dog/puppy with another dog/puppy of the same color, sex, and value. If the buyer refuses a replacement of the dog/puppy then this agreement and its guarantee are void. The buyer understands that it is the breeder’s choice to refund the purchase price less the non refundable deposit amount, or replace the puppy. The buyer is responsible for all expenses in the return of the dog/puppy and under no circumstances will the breeder replace the above puppy/dog if the breeder has not been advised of its illness with in the time allotted above or if the dog/puppy is given away or put to sleep. If a new puppy is issued to the buyer, the buyer will assume the new shipping cost as well.
Hound House Farm can not guarantee against size, weight, hair coat, skin conditions, temperament, conformation, breeding ability or train ability of above said dog/puppy. Any information given to you in these regards is simply the breeder’s educated guess/opinion. Many things can influence growth and development of a dog/puppy. The buyer agrees to keep said dog/puppy on a good diet and exercise plan. Buyer agrees to keep dog/puppy in a good safe and suitable area for its entire life. The buyer assumes responsibility for the health and injury of the puppy after the puppy leaves the breeder. It is the buyer’s responsibility to take the precautionary steps to protect the puppy from dangerous or infected situations until the puppy has had its series of proper vaccinations.
Hound House Farm has done everything possible to produce healthy sound Dachshund dogs and puppies by breeding only those that are free of illness and genetic disorders.
This contract and all guarantees apply to the original puppy and buyer and are nontransferable to a third party without the breeders consent.
Additional Terms
HOUND HOUSE FARM IS TO BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY IF FOR ANY REASON THE PUPPY IS NO LONGER WANTED OR CAN NO LONGER BE CARED FOR. WE WILL BE HAPPY TO TAKE OUR PUPPY/DOG BACK AT BUYERS EXPENSE WITHOUT COMPENSATION TO BUYER AND RE HOME THE PUPPY/DOG. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THE PUPPY IS NOT ABANDONED OR PLACED IN A SHELTER.
