Health Guarantee
The following is provided on our purchase contract:
This puppy/dog has been wormed and vaccinated in accordance to its age. Both parties agree that the puppy appears to be healthy at this time. This puppy is sold with a 96 hour warranty. Buyer realizes that the purchase of this live animal carries the risk of said puppy/dog contracting various vermin, bacteria or viruses once it leaves Indian Cotton Kennels. Seller guarantees this puppy/dog to be free from any life threatening diseases such as distemper, parvo, parainfluenza, coronavirus, hepatitis and adenovirus cough for two weeks. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide current vaccinations for said puppy/dog on schedule. If puppy/dog is determined to be in poor health, within the 96 hour time frame, puppy may be returned to the seller with a written report from the veterinarian. The seller will replace the puppy with another puppy, same sex and color, and value as soon as one becomes available. NO CASH REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS ONLY. At no time will the seller be responsible for any vet bills incurred. Beyond the 96 hour health guarantee, the seller offers no guarantee on infectious disease. This puppy/dog is not sold with a guarantee of bring show quality, perfect temperament or a proven breeder. We, as breeders, have to the best of our ability, attempted to breed a quality, miniature dachshund. All of Indian Cotton Kennels miniature dachshunds are AKC registered. This puppy is sold with a one year guarantee against the following hereditary disease, epilepsy, primary glaucoma, hyperadrenocorticism, invertebral disc disease, and general pravon willebrands disease. If, after an examination by a vet acceptable to both parties, the puppy is determined to be affected by any of the previous hereditary diseases, the puppy may be returned to Indian Cotton kennels with a written report from the veterinarian. Seller will replace puppy with another puppy as soon as one becomes available, same sex, color and value. NO CASH REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS ONLY. At no time will the seller be responsible for any vet fees incurred.
BUYERS RESPONSIBILITES: Have the puppy checked by a veterinarian within 96 hours. If the puppy is bought as a pet, spaying and neutering is recommended. If at any time, you are no longer able to care for the puppy, Indian Cotton Kennels will provide a home for the puppy at no additional cost to you.
