Schnauzers Of Taylor (SOT)is located in Taylor Texas and we are dedicated to breeding AKC Minis with the highest standards.We are Hobby Breeders and pride ourselves in companion pets just for you. Puppies raised in our home with love, attention and kisses. We are a christian family, we raise puppies, we have one in agility training now and strive just be just that "different" breeder from all the rest.
We feel that everyone deserves the opportunity to be able to own the breed and enjoy how smart, lovable and devoted that a schnauzer is.(homes must be approved)
My lines were picked for temperament and health. We specialize in companion pets. Our Mini schnauzers are in the AKC standard of a Mini. Mini's are 12-19 lbs and 12x12 to 14x14 (measured from shoulder to start of tail). We are involved in continued training and stimulation. My dauther is in 4H with her dog Holly Berry and a hopeful for agility competition.
All puppies will have been wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks. Puppies are started on a "Super Dog" program used by the military on days 3 to day 16. This is a Neuro stimulation that helps build stronger puppies and smarter adults. Shots are given at 6 weeks. Tails and dewclaws are docked on day 3. We litterbox train and it is wonderful. Not only does it make raising the pups cleaner but also a easier transition to their new homes for you. They can always fall back on the litterbox as they grow for backup. Ears are left natural.We do not advocate cropped ears, we love the floppy look. Puppies are ready at 8 weeks of age unless I feel they need to spend longer with me. I do not charge extra if they stay past 8 weeks due to pick up scheduling.
All of our 6 doggies are our pets also. They sleep under our roof and bring us great joy. Only the best care is provided and they are treated like one of my children.
Our pregnant mom's receive only the best of care with vet checkups regularly. They are given cottage cheese, yogurt, kieffer and red raspberry tea leaves to help with delivery. I do not use flea prevention on them during pregnancy and try to do everything possible for the health of the babies. After birth the moms enjoy a homemade hash consisting of chicken, celery, carrots and brown rice. We believe in a holistic approach for the excellent health of our schnauzers and are commited in always striving to do our best.
