Owner Contract
The new owner contract shown is a sample posted by this member as a representative of the agreement you would enter into prior to obtaining a puppy/dog from this breeder. It is not, nor does it imply, a contract with or guarantee by QualityDogs.com, endorsement by QualityDogs.com of this contract, or any responsibility, express or implied, by QualityDogs.com. The breeder listed is solely responsible for the content of this contract and its satisfaction. For your protection, QualityDogs.com recommends obtaining a printed, signed copy of any contract.

For a complete contract please contact me via email or phone. It is not practical for us to post our contract in its entirety here.

REGISTRATION: We certify that the puppy is eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC) as a purebred Doberman Pinscher. It is your responsibility to register the puppy and assume all registration fees. All paperwork necessary to register the puppy shall be provided to you.
LIMITED REGISTRATION: In order to discourage inappropriate breeding, which adds to pet over population, all puppies sold on Limited Registration must be spayed/neutered by the age of eight months. Sandalwood will provide a Certificate of Spay/Neuter to be filled out by your veterinarian. Certificates must be returned to us following sterilization.
FULL REGISTRATION: The primary focus for puppies sold on Full Registration is showing in Conformation and Working events (such as Schutzhund, Obedience, etc). You agree that puppy will be shown in at least 40 shows, or until attaining its Championship title. You agree that the puppy will be health tested prior to breeding. You further agree that you will not breed the puppy before the age of 24 months; and will not breed a female puppy more than once per rolling calendar year.

RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL: Sandalwood shall have right of first refusal in the event that you are unable, for any reason, to continue ownership of the puppy. We have the option to take the puppy back into ownership (accompanied by signed registration papers) and require 15 days notice to respond to you.

RESCUE: All Sandalwood puppies are microchipped for permanent identification. In the event that an Animal Service Organization contacts us about a puppy, we will claim the puppy.
